Adams Elementary 4th grader Manuel Aguilar, known as “Manny the Mayor” on campus had his dream come true with a visit to City Hall and a one-on-one with Mayor Ron Nirenberg.
He came prepared with a list of questions and even got to sit behind the Mayor’s desk! While posing for photos in his “Manny the Mayor” shirt, he ran into newly elected Mayor Gina Ortiz. Manny truly reminded us just how powerful our students’ dreams can be.
