Harlandale ISD had the honor of welcoming Medal of Honor recipient James McCloughan this morning. Harlandale High School’s JROTC, Student Council, and Cheerleaders proudly greeted him as students listened to his awe-inspiring story of bravery and sacrifice during the Vietnam War.
As a former teacher and coach, Mr. McCloughan also shared profound insights on the lasting impact educators have in shaping young lives. His visit served as a powerful reminder of the values of courage and sacrifice. We are deeply grateful for his time and the inspiration he brought to students and staff.
