Recently, our Makerspace drone team competed at the Boeing Port Tech Center at Port San Antonio — and they brought home an incredible sweep! Sponsored by Amazon and CPS Energy, the competition challenged students in engineering, problem-solving and drone knowledge.
Our team earned:

• 1st Place in the Drone Genius quiz competition
• Best Engineering Design
Thanks to their dedication and hard work, they were able to walk away with more hardware than any other program!

Guests got to learn about our JROTC programs by our high school cadets, they also were able to create custom buttons and paper planes, and they even took on the crowd-favorite bear crawl challenge!
Overall, it was a great day of learning and community support at Terrell Wells Middle School.

Recientemente, la escuela secundaria Terrell Wells de Harlandale ISD organizó un animado Día de Historia Viva con actividades prácticas para estudiantes y familias.

Our recent Community Conversation and Makerspace Open House helped students be future ready by giving them the chance to explore some of the hands-on programs available across Harlandale ISD. From robotics and coding to podcasting and sewing, students tried out tools and skills that support creativity, problem-solving and real-world learning.
