With Election Day right around the corner, we wanted to remind everyone that Adams Elementary is a polling site! Voting for our leaders is a privilege that we hope you will take advantage of. It’s important that our kiddos see us taking our civic responsibilities seriously. The Adams Elementary Fall Carnival is almost here! Make plans to join us this Friday!
Don't forget, the Adams Carnival is coming up this Friday and we are still in need of donations! Please see the attached list to find out what you can bring in.
In honor of Veterans Day, HISD will be recognizing local and district veterans during our football game on Friday, November 1 at Harlandale Memorial Stadium. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 6:30 PM on the home side track.
If you or a loved one is a veteran and would like to participate in the ceremony, please submit the form below by Thursday, October 24.
Participating veterans are kindly asked to arrive by 6:00 PM.

Only one week away!
Our annual school carnival is just around the corner and we can't do it without you! We are still in need of food and drink donations. If you are able to provide even a small amount, we would appreciate it so much!
Chicken on a stick, corn in a cup, nachos, mangonadas....do I have your attention?! All of this and more at our annual Adams Carnival, October 25th from 4:30-7. Tell your friends!
On Thursday, we had an awesome turnout for our annual Bike Rodeo! There were over 80 participants in K-5th grades! Winners will be announced next Friday. We also wanted to say thank you to all of the staff who helped out, as well as our 5th grade helpers. We couldn't have done it without you!
Don't forget, our carnival is coming up next week on October 25th! We are still in need of donations. Please help us make the Adams carnival a success!

**Attention families**
If your child is planning on participating in the Bike Rodeo, remember, their permission slips are due on Monday, October 7th! If you need a new copy of the permission slip, we have some available in the office.
On October 10th, we will be hosting a Perfect Attendance Dancy Party!! All students with perfect attendance from October 2-9th will be invited to attend. Make sure you are here ALL day, EVERY day!

Reminder! Harlandale's Neighbors Together event is happening TODAY, Tuesday, Oct. 1 at Harlandale Memorial Stadium from 5-7 PM! Bring the whole family for an evening filled with great food, live music, student performances and a special surprise! We can't wait to see you there!
For any interested students PK4 - 8th grade, McCollum Hight School is hosting a Spirit Clinic on Saturday, October 5th from 9:30am - 2:30pm. Participating students will be invited to perform at the MHS Varsity football game on October 18th. Registration forms are available in the MHS front office.
