Congratulations to Evelyn for being one of two students from Gilbert Elementary selected to join Superintendent Mr. Soto’s inaugural Student Advisory Committee. A Harlandale High School alum founded a nonprofit called Flamingo Club, which offers a handful of students golf equipment and course access every year. There are only 10 openings left for the fall 2024 cohort. Harlandale ISD is hosting a Mobile Food Pantry on Tuesday, October 15th at Harlandale Memorial Stadium from 9-11 am. Distribution will begin as soon as the truck is unloaded. Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and only while supplies last. No pre-registration is required. On Friday, October 25th, the Harlandale Indians will take on the Victoria West Warriors, with Gilbert Elementary being recognized during the game. Tickets are available at the gate. Prices are $8 for adults and $3 for children ages 6 and up. The game starts at 7:00 PM at Harlandale Memorial Stadium. ------ El viernes 25 de octubre, los Indios de Harlandale se enfrentarán a los Guerreros de Victoria West y la escuela primaria Gilbert será reconocida durante el juego.
