Students who are currently in 8th grade have the opportunity to
take a proficiency exam in Spanish and potentially earn up to
three Foreign language credits which are needed to graduate
from high school. Students must continue enrollment in HISD in
the 2024-2025 school year.

It's been a busy and successful week in Apache Land! Our 3 book club teams that moved on to the district competition competed against 3 HMS teams and one team from KMS. We took 1st, 2nd and 3rd place! Team Tejano, who took 3rd place lost to their own Apache teammates by 1 point! Congratulations to the Book Slayers and team GTV who will be moving on to city competition on April 6th!
We are so proud of our Apache Choir! They got a 1 in concert and a 1 in sight reading, which means they brought home a sweepstakes trophy!!!
Shout out to our 4H club and Mrs. Crain for helping to beautify our library by repotting the library plants! They turned 4 plants into 10 by separating them, and repotted another. It was very obvious that some were beyond overgrown! 🤪
