Tuesday, September 16 at Harlandale Memorial Stadium! The food truck will arrive between 9-11 AM. Distribution will begin as soon as the truck unloads until supplies last.

Monday, September 15th is international dot day! Peter H. Reynold's book 'The Dot' is about a girl named Vashti who discovers that you can be creative and express yourself in many ways, as long as you keep trying. We are reading the book and students are helping to create a dot day mural in the library. To celebrate, students have the option and are encouraged to wear dots on Monday!

Good morning Wright Families,

Thank you so much for your patience this morning as we adjusted to the unexpected early closure of White St. We appreciate your grace and support.

We are now preparing for the afternoon and anticipating White still being closed at dismissal. Therefore, below is our contingency plan (please see map also):

* K-1 will dismiss from the front gate with 2nd grade from the West gate
* PK will still dismiss from the foyer entrnace
* 3-5 will dismiss from the East gate (gate beefore the 4th grade exit)
* 4th will still dismiss from the 4th grade exit door as usual

We will have HISD PD support to help direct traffic and make this as smooth a process as possible. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we work with the current construction and prioritize student safety.

Our Open House is tonight from 5:00-6:30. Come by and see what your student's have been doing in the classroom. We can't wait to see everyone there!

Our Grandparents Day Breakfast is this Thursday and Friday!
There is limited availability, so please make sure to RSVP on Parent Square to ensure your spot. We ask for a limit of 2 grandparents per child.
Keep in mind that this will be on a first-come-first serve basis. Due to limited space, only the first 150 grandparents will be allowed to attend. Thank you for understanding as we prioritize safety.

Monday was Box of Dreams distribution day at Wright Elementary! Thanks to the Texas Say YES project, every single student received a box of school supplies. How awesome is that?! Thank you so much to our volunteers from Generations Federal Credit Union for helping with distribution.

Harlandale ISD joined city officials this morning to celebrate the grand opening of the Next Level Urgent Care facility at City Base San Antonio.

Through our partnership with Next Level Prime, staff and their families have unlimited access to high-quality medical care to support their health and well-being year-round.
