Our Cafeteria team is the Bee's Knees! To celebrate our health heroes, they have transformed the cafeteria into a happen hive! Thank you to all the hard worker bees in there!

We wrapped up the final Superintendent Parent Advisory Council meeting for the 2025–2026 school year. Thank you to our dedicated parent leaders for their continued partnership and commitment to Harlandale ISD.

During this session, families heard updates from district leaders on Board of Trustee election changes, Fine Arts highlights and summer resources to support our students and families.

Last Friday we celebrated our principal, Mrs. Barrera-Smith! She works hard every day to support teachers and students as we all grow and learn. Thank you for everything you do! We appreciate you!

Thank you to all the families that allowed the students to purchase tattoos for the teachers. The students had so much fun seeing their teachers with the tattoos they picked out! Have a wonderful weekend!

Today the SA Graffiti Reads program visited our 2nd and 3rd graders to read a story and share about how graffiti harms the community. The students loved the presentation and even got a few prizes!

Student Council is having a fundraiser this week! Students can purchase a temporary tattoo and decide which teacher they want to wear it. Tattoos will be available for purchase Monday- Thursday and teachers will wear their tattoos on Friday, May 1st!

Yesterday was our Wright Fiesta Parade! The shoebox floats and pinatas were amazing! Thank you to all the families who helped to make yesterday so special. Viva Wright!

In a few weeks, we will be hosting our annual Harlandale Indians Youth Football Camp. Sign up today!

Next Wednesday is our Fiesta Shoebox Parade at Wright Elementary! The parade begins at 2:00 pm. Parents are welcome to attend. Just like our 100th day parade the route will take us into the parking lot before reentering the campus! Bring your own chairs and come celebrate Fiesta San Antonio with us! See you there!

Book Fair starts today! Thank you for those who have already created e-wallets! The book fair is cashless so creating an e-wallet is the easiest way for kids to shop! Scan the QR code or follow the website to set yours up today! You can also share your wallet with friends and family so they can donate to your child's book fair budget. The book fair will be open after school on Tuesday and Thursday for families to visit. Please enter through the Trenton Dr. entrance to the library. See you soon!

Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up soon! We are asking for donations from families so that the teachers can have snacks and goodies throughout the week. You can send items at any time between now and May 1. Let's thank all the teachers for their hard work! Your support is much appreciated!
