Yesterday we were nice and cozy in our pajamas for Red Ribbon week!
Our Harlandale ISD community came together for a beautiful evening of celebration at this year’s District Family Night: Remember Me Night, a Día de los Muertos themed event hosted at Harlandale High School.
Families enjoyed colorful ofrendas, student artwork, performances from our choirs and the HHS Mariachi, along with games and prizes, face painting, treats and plenty of community fun. Thank you to everyone who joined us and to all our amazing staff who helped make the night so special.

Jenna Lopez of the Texas A&M AgriLife program facilitated a hands-on lesson about carnivorous plants in Ms. Lansman's third grade class. The students were learning about plant and animal adaptations.

Tonight is our Fall Carnival at Wright Elementary from 5:00-7:30! Tickets are $1 and can be purchased at the front office from 8:00-12:00 today or during the carnival. Can't wait to see everyone there!
