Our first day of school is this Wednesday, August 12! Classes are from 7:45-3:25. We can't wait to see everyone! Viva Wright!

Here is the information for parent drop off and pick up for the first day of school.

Please note that all Harlandale ISD campuses and District offices will close today, Friday, Aug. 7, at 11:30 a.m. as our staff comes together for our annual Districtwide Staff Convocation.

Our offices will remain closed for the remainder of the day, and phone calls and in-person assistance will resume when we reopen on Monday, Aug. 10.

Thank you for your understanding as we kick off the new school year with our incredible staff. We look forward to assisting you on Monday!

This week Wright Elementary welcomed back our teachers and staff in style! We had raffles, give aways and made fiesta wreaths to welcome everyone back next week. Viva Wright!

Our Back to School Bash is Today!

Get ready to kick off the new school year at Harlandale ISD’s Back-to-School Bash today, July 30, from 2:00 to 7:00 PM at the Morrill Center (5200 South Flores).

Families are invited to stop by and take advantage of these offerings:
• Free backpacks
• Free school supplies
• Free haircuts
• Community resources
• Free to low-cost vaccines (pre-registration required)*
• Low-cost athletic physicals

Today is our Paletas with the Principal! Please join us on the playground at Wright Elementary from 4:00- 5:30 for a sweet treat! Visit with the principals and meet other parents as we kick off the 2026-2027 school year. See you there!

Wednesday, August 12 marks the first day of school, and we can't wait to see our students walking through the doors again.

It's the start of another year filled with learning and new opportunities. To all of our students, families and staff, thank you for being part of what makes Harlandale ISD such a special place.
